An SOW covers scope, milestones, acceptance criteria and fees. It relies on the master agreement for the legal terms rather than repeating them.
Why it matters: most disputes about professional services are scope disputes. Vague acceptance criteria in an SOW are where they usually begin.
A definition can tell you what a term means. It cannot tell you what to do about your matter — that needs a licensed lawyer who knows the facts.
